Ancient Egypt and the pile dwellings of Lake Garda
The course has been designed with the aim of promoting local heritage by placing it within a global and comparative historical context.
Taking the Lake Garda pile-dwelling sites – which are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List – as a starting point, the lessons will draw a chronological parallel with Ancient Egypt, visually illustrating what was happening at the same time on the shores of Lake Garda and along the Nile Valley.
